A ‘laser tag activity center’, housed in a basement, had insufficient equipment to establish a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. Due to the sportive activity humidity rises quickly as well absence of fresh air. The standard cooling equipment is not considered to match this kind of use of space. In order not to effect the electricity bill too much, we designed a cycle of cooling, dehumidifying and ventilation, with buffering of energy and for example making use of cooler night air to come to better conditions.
In order to improve the general indoor air quality, 3 independent air cleaner systems were installed. Each working with another airflow direction, thus also improving the coverage of the AC installation.
